Sometimes you just forget how big the internet really is. You're working on a project or trying to formulate some ideas and you believe that they're really only of interest to you and a few others near you. That's the situation just up to the point where you put these ideas online and share it with a few others.
One week ago we decided to put some of our ideas, regarding UML and bringing it to the web, online. One week later we have 19 people who have signed up to support our initiative on the site, a group of 31 on LinkedIn, a few references on other blogs and tons of reactions from literally all over the world. Amongst all these people are even some highly respected names like Eelco Visser and Cory Casanave.
So, thanks a lot to everyone who stepped up this first week and showed their support. It's great to see that the webUML initiative makes sense to more people than just us and we hope that together we can make this a nice platform to discuss how we would like to and can bring UML to the web.
